Remote Control – With the 8-in-1 Remote and pocket remote, you can control all your home’s lights & appliances from any room in your house, without getting up from the couch or bed. The 8-in-1 also controls your TV, VCR, Cable, Stereo, even through walls and ceilings– so you don’t need any other remote control.
Automatic Control – Let your PC turn things on & off, or dim/brighten lights based on schedules you create. These customized routines are also extremely useful for when you’re asleep or away, and they still work while your PC is turned off. The motion sensor can detect movement and then trigger lights/appliances as programmed.
How it works:
The ActiveHome software sends command signals across your home’s existing electrical wires directly to your lights and appliances for safe and easy control.
Plug & Play: No new wiring is needed, so it’s extremely simple and quick to setup. (X10 Home Automation technology also enables you to safely dim and brighten your lights, even if they don’t do that normally).
HOME SECURITY:
When you leave home, you activate your ActiveHome Security Macro which turns on lights, radio, and television at your normal "lived-in" times and waters the lawn. For example, your living room lights automatically turn on from 6PM - 9PM, then the bedroom lights turn on from 9PM - 10PM. At 10 PM the lights start to dim and finally turn off. You can also program a Macro to turn on lights at random times.
Design your own Macros - Simply push 1 button and start amazing events, like "going to bed" or "vacation" or even "party-time!"
ENERGY SAVINGS:
With the rising costs of electricity you can use ActiveHome to control the temperature in your home while you're away and when you're home. You can program ActiveHome to cool the room before you arrive home from work. You can heat the house before you wake up.
