If an antenna is connected directly to the TV Anywhere unit, the embedded Panasonic analog TV tuner will perform a channel search function that is limited to analog TV signals, i.e. PAL, NTSC. This analog tuner will NOT pick up Digital TV channels such as GO and Gem.
If a digital setup box or digital TV is connected to the unit via a composite-video cable, then the TV Anywhere will output the input TV signal, limited to the bandwidth, resolution and quality of the composite-video cable.
